Life is a Weaving...

It seems life in general has just been a whirlwind lately. Finals for my classes are coming up. I just went in to take an English Lit clep. Piano competitions. While this is the time of year that summer is showing its buds and beckoning to me to rush outside barefoot with basket of books, my camera, and a picnic, it is an unanswered call. I'm missing it. I long for days where I could open my windows to sunlight and make the decision to spend the day outside in breeze. But, spring has melted away giving way to intense heat.... another spring gone.

I am honestly thankful, though, that G-d given us variety in the seasons. Just as in the seasons of our lives, different seasons each bring their unique blessings and unique difficulties alike, which He most graciously bestows upon us to refine. Beauty, as much as I wish it did, does not come by joy alone... yes, the pathway is rough. He fashions what pleases Him from silken threads and rougher materials.

And yet... it is enough that His hand brings them all in infinite love.

To think... I am but a weak thread in the Weaver's tapestry. A sliver of glass in His mosaic.

Going across the loom... a thread of sorrow. A thread of pain. Of grief.

And yet...  it shines as gold among the darkness.

And yet... His grace is limitless.

There is nothing, nothing, that a thread of sorrow and difficulty can limit.

It is yet... intricate. Exquisite.

We are His workmanship.

In His thoughts before the world was created.

And His greater will shall be accomplished.

Beautiful.

Another day has passed~

Let the peace of G-d rule in your hearts... <3
