What is your favorite thing about Jane Austen? Why?

Let's see. Even though she can be extensively romantic, I enjoy her style. She had good morals in her novels. A lot of her characters can apply to you in real life. For instance, there's always that sweet Jane Bennet in your life (you know who you are;); and Catherine Morland; and the hilarious (yet sometimes not so much!) terrible match-maker Emma. There's absolutely no "gross" romance that you so often find from today's romantics (yes!) And even though you feel like you know what's going to happen, Jane Austen always throws that little hook in at the end of each chapter that makes you want to keep going.

And that's what I absolutely love about her.

Besides, there's nothing that makes a girl more happy when she spends time talking about Regency dresses, Jane Austen, French curls, and plans for a tea party in British accents=)
