Past Highlights of 2010...

Happy 2011, Everyone!
So, I decided to go back on each month of this past year, and figure out the highlights of each month. 'Tis going to be fun!

So read on:

~January~

This month started out with a bang... and several New Years Resolutions- which pretty much failed after the first couple months, if that. :P This year my "New Years Resolution" was this: I'm not going to make New Years' Resolutions, I'm going to make goals. Started HaYesod study- fabulous insights!

~February~

We celebrated Alexandrea's 11th Birthday with a cooking party! I'm sure no one knows she likes to cook;) *wink, wink* I also started Shakespeare again- had Midsummer Night's Dream Auditions, and became known as 'Peaseblossom' and 'Hippolyta.'  Played much tennis with Karah. Started this blog =D (My blogoversary is coming up...)Woot-woot!

~March~

Took CHSPE, passed literature and grammar sections, and missed five problems for math :P. Went to the beach with Tiffani, had a wonderful time with my sweet sister, Ball-kidded for BNP Paribas Open.

~April~

April- Daddy's birthday, followed by mine (yeah, fourteen!!!) Played bunco at a teen-scene on my birthday. Went to Junior Prom with Tiffani, Elissa, and Karah.

~May~

First four Midsummer Night's Dream performances. Did show down here in Palm Desert, exciting! Played Peaseblossom three times and Hippolyta once. Anniversary of King Lear. My hair actually became my definition of "long," much to my joy. Played actress "Natasha Gibson" at end-of-the-year ritz party/teen-scene.

~June~

Finished Midsummer Night's Dream performance as Hippolyta. Sadly bid farewell to my dear Shakespeare buddies for the summer, and some for a looooonnnnng time. =( Re-decided I don't like partings at all. Finished GBS with Karah, Tiffani, and Hannah R. Went to Tiffani's and Elissa's highschool graduation. Made purses with Tiffani, Alexandrea, and Lexi (by the way.. the purse business is expanding... literally:D)

~July~

 Was informed by Shakspeare instructor Angela about Shakespeare competition in October. Jumped for joy! Went to "audition" for MrJ Kid-Possible team with Lexi and joined~! Swam. Did geometry. Swam some more. Went to the beach for a day. Was informed that my sweet sister Tiffani was moving. Sobbed, cried, wrote lots in journal, and sobbed some more. NOOOOO! Completed "beloved" geometry. Marmee opened music studio. Started teaching piano lessons.

~August~

 AUNTY EUNICE CAME HERE!!! Went to the mountains for the day. Marmee's birthday. Was informed by orthodontist that I get my braces off in November. Jumped for joy again! Said sad goodbye to Aunty Eunice and family. Re-re- decided I strongly disliked partings. Went to Carlsbad for a week. Celebrated the 2nd anniversary of owning Chester and Lilly. Auditioned for fashion show. Was picked for fashion show. Took Tiffani and Ms. Traci to new home. Sobbed the whole way home. Re-re-re-decided that I hated partings. Wrote lots more in journal. Started Shakespeare once again.

~September~

Shakespeare again. Re-registered for CHSPE. Celebrated Rosh Hashana. Started teaching piano lessons. Celebrated Yom Kippur. RSVP'd for teen-scene year-kick-off party- is playing Miss Crimson, Shakespearian actress :) Went to orthodontist for one of the last phases of braces. Began piano. Preparing for Shakespeare competition.Visited Tiffani, and had a "simply marvelous" time! (Inside joke for those of you who don't understand the quote marks, which I'll share later.)

~October~

Definitely Shakespeare Competition was one of the biggest highlights of October (became known as Imogen in Cymbeline) (Yes!!!!). Had my dear girlfriends Karah, Tiffani, and Lexi over to prepare for the Western teen-scene, where I became known as Miss Crimson (Shakespearian actress) at teen-scene year kick-off party, Karah using her fantastic skills as a hairdresser on us, and believe me, she is fantastic! Took my mid-terms for Williamsburg Academy.

~November~

Didn't get my braces off:/ Made a mid-calculation:( Went to a students apologetics conference and saw Joel Rosenberg and Lee Strobel:) 'Twas fabulous. Tiffani, Kristin, and I became star-struck for the first time, after Rosenberg signed our books.

~December~

Canned apples at Garcia's home. Chester got married to Tinkie... hopefully they'll be breeding soon!Celebrated Hanukkah... lots of fun. Was informed by orthodontist that I am going to get my retainer in January!!! Get to do MrJ at Lake Arrowhead in February. YAY!!! Winter break. New Year's. And Cassie is coming out (hopefully!) from MO next month.

AND, that is where it ends. I now have six piano students; will be getting my retainer imprints in 8 days (yippee!). We're going up to Alpine in February. And Cass is hopefully coming out this month. Happy 2011, ya'll.

It's going to be an amazing year!
