The L-rd's Day

"And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we all too formrely lived in the lusts of our felsh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature, children of wrath, even as the rest. But G-d, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us (1 John 4:19), even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ; by grace you have been saved."
-Ephesians 2:1-5

Friendships with the world... when we live in the world, walking in its course, we begin to "walk the walk" and "talk the talk" becoming "children of wrath..." unless we are grounded in G-d's Word. I'm not saying it's not right for us to go out and surround ourselves in the world; rather I'm saying it's all about submission... I want to be in the world, but not of the world. Those of you who know me know that I enjoy "quiet" mission work... such as handing out tracts to random people that the L-rd has laid on my heart to give one to at the store... writing is another point that I enjoy (I'm working on my book right now...I'll keep you posted with details!); one that I feel is part of my life is children... precious gifts who I can minister to (and who's watchful eye I am always under, whether I realize it or not!).

If monkey see, monkey do, I think monkey can also change things;) I don't want to be become someone who sees and dos; I want to be in the world, but not of the world, as my grandfather once said.

Thoughts?

Have a lovely L-rd's day, friends!

love,
